How to Use
Organic Amaranth flour has a rich nutty flavour and can be used in baking to make pasta, pancakes, flatbread and muffins. It can also be used as a thickener in soups, sauces and stews. Amaranth flour has a high water content and absorbs water easily so is more suitable in recipes that do not use large quantities of liquid. When used for bread baking, Amaranth flour can only replace up to 25% of the total flour used, as it will not rise on its own.
